Chandra Nair – Official Nintendo Magazine Chandra.nair@futurenet.co.uk
Editor
www.justgiving.com/chandragoesupthemountain
I have managed to get this man to cut all his hair off for charity! This is a big deal as it’s like his second manhood (his words)! But it’s all for Charity.
Chandra is the proud editor of the fantastic Official Nintendo Magazine and he’s been a videogames journalist for around 7 years and has worked throughout the industry for a long time. He is a very popular person and a good mate and I’m very happy that he’s agreed to come up Kili, although he’s still got to clear it with work. J
Tony Usher – Lee’s pal
www.justgiving.com/usher
Tony Usher is a fella I’ve not known for very long but I met him through a mate and found out that he’s a top lad and a great poker partner. It’s great to have some people from outside of the industry joining the trip to raise money! Tony’s an estate agent but don’t hold that against him.
Tony Brown – Lee’s pal
www.justgiving.com/browniuk
Tony Brown is another good lad (thank god) who’ve I’ve known since he was about 6 and he’s a very excitable geezer with a fantastic heart - He can also play poker which is a bonus. That’s three of us who can play poker so bring some money.
Olly McGowan – Indigo Pearl Olly.McGowan@indigopearl.com
http://www.justgiving.com/indigopearl_do_kili
Where do I start with Olly???!!! Ok, Olly works for a PR agency called Indigo Pearl. He’s a very excitable chap and also a bit of an exhibitionist…Part of his sponsor plans is that if you give him money he’s take his clothes off at the top. I’ve personally told him is not a good idea but hey ho. I’ve known Olly since he was very young and he’s a great fella and a hard working chap if a bit of a loon, he’ll be great entertainment, just don’t give him a drink.
Jakki Degg & Simone Lesforis – Model and contact of Lee jakki@jakkidegg.net
http://www.myspace.com/officialjakkidegg
www.justgiving.com/jakkidegg
I’ve known Jakki now for a few years and instantly took a liking to her because she’s just a brilliant girl! I was probably the only person in her years of modelling who convinced her to pose on a beach in Bournemouth for a Jet Ski game when is was minus temperatures. So sorry! Since then we have met on a number of occasions at shows and other working events and I’m very pleased to welcome Jakki and her friend Simone to the trip.
Jakki’s career goes back about ten years or so in modelling and she has a huge fan base who should be throwing money at her for this charity. I know from experience what this trip does for you and for Jakki it’s an amazing support that she’s agreed to come along. You are truly a top girl x
Keith Turnbull – Eidos
http://www.justgiving.com/Kilimanjaro2007_Keitht
Keith is originally from Cape town, South Africa, but came over to London in 2001, he’s been in the IT industry for 7years but has been with Eidos (Tomb Raider fellas for those that don’t know) for a little over a year now and he’s never been happier.
He enjoys Camping (which is bloody handy), the outdoors, gaming and any sport (as long as it has 2 wheels).
Charlene – Indigo Pearl charlene@indigopearl.com
http://www.justgiving.com/indigopearl_do_kili
I’ve personally only known Charlene for only a short time but she’s a great enthusiastic girl with a great smile and a wonderful nature. She is the second person to attend from Indigo Pearl (which means they’re in need of staff) – She alongside me will be making sure that Olly will be a good lad. Welcome Charlene.
Richard Stickler – Gem Distribution RichardS@GEM.CO.UK
http://www.justgiving.com/Climb_For_Life
Richard is the latest gent to join our climb to the top and he works for Gem Distribution in Harlow.
From what I hear, He loves his Rugby (that’s three of us); he’s a top chap with a great personality who loves charity and a challenge. He’s worked for Gem for around 2-3 years and he’s a well liked chap! (handy) - Bet you’re wondering where I’ve got this info Rich? Anyway, welcome to the team and I look forward to getting to know you better.

About me: Hi all
This page has been created for all those from within the games and entertainment business to share their pictures from previous climbs for the Entertainment Software Charity. 2004 - 2006, many have reached the summit, many have laughed, and many have most certainly cried. This page will hopefully lend some help and give you tips if you plan to climb this wonderful mountain. 2006 saw a group of people climb the Rongai Route and details of this route will be found within this page. From 6th-16th October 2007 the ESC will hopefully have the biggest group of individuals climb for the very last time.
You will find pictures from previous trips, videos and information on clothing and tips from previous climbers!
