I want to travel around doing shows and making people smile. Music, music, music baby.......what can I say?
..
Music
I have a collection of slow jams that date back to the 50's. I listen to music to fall asleep, do chores, read. You name it. But the passion I have from music dates back to the days I first arrived on the planet. My mother used music to put me to sleep. She actually used slow jams. I guess that explains why I like them so much. But I use music as a healer and a motivator. I try to put my personality into the sets I play. The goal every time I step in front of a group of people to play music is to make you become so immersed into the evening that you lose all track of time. I try to make you feel like closing time came too soon. And when you leave I hope you tell your friends and they come next time.
Movies
I have seen so many movies that I can tell the ending about twenty minutes into the film. That sucks for my dates sometimes.
..
Television
The only show I make sure not to miss is SportsCenter. I like to watch my Lakers, Bulls, Kansas Jayhawks, and Bears. If I am not too busy though I never mind watching an episode of Law and Order.
..
..
Books
I like to read books that seem like a movie even though you're reading. Good suspenseful, detective stuff that's hard to put down. But the best kind to me are biographies about whomever I feel is interesting enough to read about.

Heroes
My heroes in life have always been family members. They taught me values and respect for others. My musical heroes are DJ's I have had the chance to work with or have witnessed in person why they are so good at their craft. Guys like DJ Jazzy Jeff, Jam Master Jay, DJ EZ Rock, DJ Joc Max, DJ Soap, DJ Sku, DJ Syncere, DJ Speedy, DJ Nasty, DJ Smooth, DJ Scottie Mac, DJ Cas, DJ Cash Money, DJ Dandy Randy, and the one that taught me all I know about making people dance, DJ Damn.....Mr. Del T.
About me: DJ Biz was born in Chicago, but was raised in just about every time zone at one point in his life. This man was an army brat, without the army. He now resides in Lawrence, Kansas. He started this DJ thing kind of by accident. His friend Christian Adair started throwing parties at his house in high school. DJ Biz always had all the latest music so he would provide the music and DJ all the parties. He moved onto working with the best DJ in town, his cousin DJ Damn, and started doing gigs at various clubs and house parties around the Lawrence, Topeka, and KC area. During this time he was also in 2 hip hop groups simultaneously KGB and Jai Productions along with future Bomb Squad members GQ and Cassanova. After going away to a small Junior College in Iola, Kansas on a basketball scholarship, he moved to Columbus, OH for 2 years to DJ around Ohio State campus parties and clubs . He then returned to Lawrence to continue what he is best at, hosting parties at bars around the Lawrence area. His DJ Company, Logan Ent. Group is also in demand for private parties and receptions. In a town full of DJ's and college students, DJ BIZ still strives to be the best he can be at what he loves. People having a good time is why he continues to do what he does. In the months to come people will see a big change in the way LEG and DJ BIZ do business. It's all about the party baby!! We just want to have a great time and make it home to get some.......whatever. I don't know rocket science or the theory of relativity but I do know how to make people have a good time.
