"Kill Anties might be a high school band from Lexington, but this group of youngsters plays music that's way more mature than the tender years of its members. In the past couple years, Kill Anties has gone from garage-punk upstart to promising indie-rock quartet with some serious potential. Band of Horses is an obvious touchstone, especially in singer Hunter Duncan's post-pubescent singing/screaming voice, and Kill Anties mines the same kind of emotional and spiritual territory as Manchester Orchestra or All Get Out."

"Opening act Kill Anties plays an incredibly mature brand of yelp-heavy, reverb-drenched Southern indie rock (see: Band of Horses, the Favorite Gentlemen collective ) that belies its collective age. Next great Columbia indie rock band? Perhaps readers."

"Of the current crop of impressive young bands in the Capital City, Kill Anties is one of the most notable. We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again here: That a band this young possesses a sound this mature is nothing short of remarkable. Where many of the band’s peers attack their music with reckless youthful abandon, Kill Anties is as much about restraint as it is rocking out. The touchstones are contemporary (see: Band of Horses, Manchester Orchestra), but this spry quintet distills its influences into something unique unto itself."
