| About Killer Angels |
Killer Angels are a four piece band from Dundee. They have been gigging now for two years locally and across Britain.
After only three gigs they were asked to pay Alan McGee's Death Disco club night and have gone on to make another nine London appearances for him in the past eighteen months.
This helped raise their profile and build their reputation, they then ended their first year gigging by taking to the stage at Glasgow's Carling Academy in front of two thousand people confirming Killer Angels as one of the hottest acts around.
The past twelve months have seen the band improve even further creating a large local following, and an offshoot fan club (Angel Killers).
It has also seen them supporting some of the most up and coming majour label acts (Kasabian, The Subways, The Gliterati, Towers of London etc..)
Killer Angels as a band don't consider themselves to be in the same vain as any other band, they concentrate very hard on creating their own unique sound. Saying this, people have compared the band to acts such as Muse, Queens of the stone age, Smashing Pumpkins, Foo Fighters, Nirvana, Kasabian, Pearl Jam, Led Zepplin, R.A.T.M, and even early Verve music.
The band describe themselves as epic hard energetic rock riffs and jaw dropping solo's, topped with the life affirming melodies and lyrics all driven on by a juggernaut rhythm section.
