   About The Killerest Expression
Ben, Gav and Damion were originally in a band called Godfish. When Godfish split, we decided to start a punk band together and recruited the drumming talents of our mate Sid. All four of us have known each other since we were about 9 or 10 years old, how cute is that?! Anyway, we wrote some daft songs and played lots of daft gigs around Birmingham. We eventually recorded 3 tracks and released it ourselves as a single. Got loads of good reviews including single of the week in Kerrang. It even got played by the late great John Peel. Chuffed. Played loads more gigs, this time venturing past the midlands and getting ourselves around the country. Eventually we met Mark from In At The Deep End records in Leicester. He liked us and asked us if we wanted to put out a record with his label. We said yes and recorded an EP called Four Days that Shook The World, complete with funky orange artwork. Again, lots of good reviews and so we continued gigging around the country. This pretty much brings us to today where we are currently finishing writing our debut album. Recording should be happening in May this year for a summer release and tour.

Hope you're all well!

Cheers for the kind words! Glad you like the songs. Ye for better or worse I'm the main vocals, I just like writing the lyrics really. The final versions didn't come out too bad but I hadn't realised quite how bad my voice could sound until I had to keep listening back to it over and over!

Awesome, it'd depend when it was really as we're all at uni here and it might be difficult to make some dates but give us a shout and we'll try and work it out from there. Ye will do, I met one guy in a punk band who's meant to be putting a gig together so when I find out more I'll get in touch about it!

Cool, I'll pass on the message.

Hope all's well,
Dan

Ah cool, great to hear there's some new some stuff on the way! I'm good thanks, I'm at uni in the Bristol at the moment which is awesome apart from all the work (I thought students were allowed to be lazy!). I've started up a band here called too which is going ok, we did some DIY recording without really having a clue what we were doing but it came out sounding alright, if you get a chance to have a listen at http://www. myspace. com/onestatemusic it'd be cool to hear what you think, don't know if any killerest influences have come through or not! Also if you lot need a support band when you've arranged some gigs we'd definitely be interested.

Hope you're well,
Dan
