Kill Kapacity started in January of 2008. Tom (guitar) and Ben (guitar) had been writing and playing music together for a few years while JC (bass) and Brendon (drummer 1) had been actively in a band together. With the break up of JC and Brendon's band, the two groups merged and began playing together on New Years Eve 2007. In April, Kill Kapacity struggled to stay together amidst one problem after another. Revived in late June with a new drummer (drummer 2) Kill Kapacity continued to write music and gain momentum. In July, they moved from their dungeon in Mesa, AZ to a practice studio in Phoenix in search of a vocalist. It didn't take long for them to find the vocalist of choice (N8), however, the same night N8 joined drummer 2 quit and Kill Kapacity was left, once again, a member short.
Having faced stronger hardships than this, Kill Kapacity continued writing and even recording music without a percussionist (not easy) as they tried drummer after drummer looking for the perfect mix of dedication, skill, and creativity. The search lasted nearly two months, before they found Ian (drums).
With the completion of its final line up, Kill Kapacity began playing shows in February 2009. In August of 2009 Kill Kapacity will host Kill Fest 2009, a show created to showcase the top AZ metal acts.

Hows it going? Just letting everyone know what I have going on and if you have any suggestions! As many of you know I am recording this years Christmas Cd "Winter Dream Vol.II" In case you don't know the Winter Dream Cd's are dedicated to my father who was killed by a drunk driver Back in 2006. The guy who caused the accident had TWO other EXTREME D.U.I's this one resulting in a death and another person seriously injured! Yet the Drunk driver ONLY received 4 years in prison and $1000 restitution! Like always I try to pull the positive out of a negative situation, which is where my Christmas Cd's come in!! The Winter Dream Cd's will come in 7 volumes (7th volume being a best of) each Cd cover will be part of a puzzle, resulting in one main picture when all Cd's are put together! Part of the proceeds will go to M.A.D.D..... This years Cd will be promoted with my new on-line Music School called Musia Institute (MusiaInstitute.com). When you buy Winter Dream Vol. II you will also receive a months worth of free guitar lessons @ Musia Institute! So my main goal for Winter Dream Vol. II is to have as many retail stores caring my Cd, encouraging friends and students to buy Winter Dream Vol. II as stalking stuffers, or bosses to give out to their employees.
