Essentially a live acoustic act, Kilta were formed out of a group of musicians who had previously worked together on many different projects.
Nick Pritchett has been playing and singing since his early teens and has gigged in London, Bristol and Durham in both solo and band member roles, including supporting songmistress Jane Taylor and the up and coming Bristol group Jacanda.
Alex Drummond is fairly new at the acoustic pop scene having followed a classical route through school and university, while also finding time to run a successful touring Jazz band.
Ben Coombs has been hitting things for as long as he can remember and thankfully, more often than not, some percussive magic comes out.
The band hope to be back in the studio in the summer of 2007 to finish their debut album 'No Best Direction' and look forward to seeing everyone they know, and lots of people they don't, on tour in the near future.
