Kilyakai (KILL-YA-KIGH) is a 6 piece band born from the ashes of several established bands in the Calgary scene. In early 2006, Kilyakai stormed Calgary with a barage of intense live shows all the way through to their self-titled debut EP, released late 2007. A 12 date Western Canadian tour immediatley ensued. Kilyakai prides itself in pushing the limits of music, and the listener with an "all-inclusive" style and performance. Categorizing the bands sound is impossible for anyone involved, as no one can pin them to a specific sound or even genre. With 4000+ touring miles already behind them, Kilyakai is and will continue to bring their sensory overload approach to the masses in a big way. Full length album in the works!
