Confidential, Manhunter (1983) far superior prequel to Silence of the Lambs), lively fun Dirty Dancing, Flashdance.
Classic fave actors: Cary Grant, Katharine Hepburn, Bette Davis, Ronald Colman, Humphrey Bogart, Laurence Olivers, Fred Astaire musicals and Audrey Hepburn. Living actors most admired by moi inc.: Sidney Poitier, Russell Crowe, Tom Hanks, Helen Mirren, Anthony Hopkins, Sigourney Weaver, Gene Hackman, Julie Andrews, William Petersen, Kevin Costner, Dennis Quaid, Keanu Reeves, Hugh Grant, Hugh Jackman, Johnny Depp, Halle Berry & tons more, but space here does not permit full listing.

Besides TREK major in my world since 1966, other tv shows I haved enjoyed watching, over the years, inc.: Dragnet, Rod Serling's original Twilight Zone, Carol Burnett Comedy Hour, quiz show extraordinaire Jeopardy, Kung Fu-starring David Caradine, Forever Knight, Dr. Quinn-Medicine Woman/starring Jane Seymour, X-Files, Joss Whedon's Buffy/Angel, Hercules/Xena Warrior Princess, and Fame '80's series & newer shows: Law & Order, CSI, JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE (so FUNNY!), Cold Case, Ghost Whisperer, Dancing with the Stars! (*cough*joey was robbed*cough*), and of course, all PBS Shows, especially their mini-series (drama & historical), World/D.C. News. For entertainment news we need to know.... ACCESS HOLLYWOOD & EXTRA. Watch vintage/classic series whenever they pop up in syndication, or FIND those vid/dvds! www.half.com is good place for hard to find GOOD shows.

Books

Writers I most enjoy are Jane Austen, crime novelists Joseph Wambaugh and Michael Connelly & Tom Robbins' imaginative flights that bend reality as we know it, inc. good sci fi (Trek novels, Jumper books & Stranger in a Strange Land), plus lively autobiographical memoirs that are more strangely fascinating than any fiction ever written. Also, detailed historical narratives that bring our Past alive, like "John Adams" latest bio.
