Mostly art books consuming my book shelves. Neil Gaiman is my current reading material. My library includes classic children's books (Alice in Wonderland, Grimm's Fairy tales and anything with great illustrations), Poe and Gothic horror classics, Clive Barker, HP Lovecraft, Beatnik anthologies, witchcraft and mythology references, etc. I also indulge in random magazines like Gothic Beauty or online 'zines like Morbid Outlook (see friends for link to site.)

Neo-tribalism and ancient mythology to Victoriana and Art Nouveau all influence Kimberlee Traub’s pen & ink creations. Kimberlee currently resides in Philadelphia where she uses her degrees in Computer Graphics and illustration to explore her professional and personal interests. She has been creating art for Gothic, horror and pagan related small press for over a decade and has been involved in several art shows and galleries. Presently she is working in graphics and doing freelance illustration for custom tattoos, independent publications, pagan and Gothic fashion spot illustrations and a variety of art for alternative events. She is also working on a line of greeting cards, buttons, t-shirts, prints and a book collecting art inspired by her travels in the Gothic subculture. Other past lives include being a gallery assistant, a body painter and working annually for local haunted houses as an actress, stage manager and set person. Exploring the spirit through symbolism, counter culture ideas, and all forms of creativity has become essential in the stylized lines of Kimberlee’s drawings.
