MY DAUGHTER, CHARLY DAS SUPERTALENT
This year, 2009, Kimberley has been working hard producing a video to celebrate the anniversary of the falling of the Berlin Wall with her children's choir, The KIDZ OF HORST. The Kidz Of Horst, a group of children, aged 8-15, have been singing together since May 2008.
Horst is a small village on the outskirts of Hannover, Germany. The children first came together to perform a song to mark the villages 750 year anniversary and have since played at various concerts in the Hannover area including, the Marktkirche (Christmas Concert, 1000 people), AWD Hall with The Abba Show (4000 people) and many local Benefit Concerts. As well as performing live, they have been into the Studio to record Break Down The Walls and have since made a video of the song.

Like all good Children's story's the song starts with Once Upon A Time...... I wont elaborate any further as the song/video says it all. The Award will be presented on 12 December 2009.

Kimberley McLean, singer/songwriter from Hannover, Germany, born with a Cosmopolitan Spirit. Kimberley started supporting Greenpeace as a teenager and joined the peace movement. Her prayers for a better world are to find in all of her songs. Kimberley met the musicians who played on her new album while playing sessions in English pubs. She later teamed up with the band “Rushmore” with whom she plays all her live gigs. They ventured into the studio "Premier Studios, Corby, England" and recorded her new album "Songs Written Of Love".
Kimberley's new Album "Songs Written Of Love" is full of expression and hope for a better world. Throughout the Album you are taken on a kaleidoscope of emotions, from the solid rock sounds of "Songs Written Of Love" and "Air Berlin", to the easy laid back reggae sound of "If You Dont Call Me", on to the love songs from the heart, for the heart like "How Then" and the jazzed-up "*Like An Angel", as well as the acoustic "Dont Forget Lords Angels". Her song "Come On Every Nation" tells the story of the climate crisis we are all suffering from, the video of which can be found on her website.
*Kimberley was a double finalist in the UK Songwriting Contest.
Kimberley received the NCM Radio Mike Award for Contemporary Female Artist 2008 and 2009.
In February 2008, Kimberley was placed with her song "Hang Around"at No.1 on the NCM European Chart Listing. This followed on from her Christmas No.1 "What A Wonderful Time" in December 2007.
Kimberley’s songs are receiving airplay on over 500 Radio stations (at the last count) worldwide .
