The Fundamentals of Extremism, is an in-depth examination of the causes and characteristics of Christian fundamentalism and its deleterious effects on women, children, African-Americans, gays and lesbians, politics, education, and American society.

Endorsed by world renowned evolutionary biologist Richard Dawkins, best-selling author of Unweaving the Rainbow: Science, Delusion and the Appetite for Wonder, The Selfish Gene, and other books.

Dawkins writes: "I have just read this brilliant book from start to finish, almost without a break, and I am stunned and horrified by what I have learned. The fundamentalist Christian Right is America’s Taliban."

John Shelby Spong, retired Bishop, Diocese of Newark, New Jersey and the national best-selling author of Rescuing the Bible from Fundamentalism has dubbed The Fundamentals of Extremism:

“a blockbuster exposé of the activities of the Religious Right...This is no shallow treatment of an emotional subject, but a thorough analysis of a present crisis.”

Hi Kimberly, I have always been very interested in the topic you focus on. If there are any events relating to it, please let me know. I don't have many people to objectively talk about this with here in Northville Township!

Hi.... I enjoy reading your blog. I listened to part of your live program the other day, but it was such a free-for-all madhouse, I decided to wait 'til I can download the edited mp3 version. Keep up the good work, and remember that there are secularist conservatives, too. The Christian right wing stole my principled party!

Greetings!

Thanks for the add! I've enjoyed reading your information on this profile. I grew up in a Dark-Ages obssesed Catholic household myself and it took me many years to work through the neuroses that were beaten into me. (I have documented this process through poetry - the book, The Psalms of Kain, should be out in about a month.)

Again, thank you!

Thank you very much for the add, and more importantly, for your writings and activism. It's gonna take all of us, and many more, to make the changes the world demands, and I'm glad to know you are doing your part! As a bookseller, I might be contacting you later about purchasing some autographed copies of your book. Wishing you the best of everything, always...

Thanks for saying 'yes' to friendship w/me. (Sounds much nicer than "thanks for the add", doesn't it?) Welcome to my circle of friends. I'm especially pleased, Kimberly because I've got such frustrating experiences with Christian Pentecostal Fundamentalism. Bless you for writing about it. Here's some art for you...
