making music, drawing comics, trapeze, knitting, crocheting, sewing, painting, burlesque, designing and making fairyland birdhouses, reading, home improvement projects, taking road trips, playing with Emma, photography, geisha, do-it-yourself fun projects, cooking, politics, spirituality, yoga, playing games, and i love my job because i get to hang out with the Keystone Kids and that is always a lot of fun.
Music
Mirah, Sufjan Stevens, The Blow/Get the Hell Out of the Way of the Volcano, Over the Rhine, Joan Baez, Bob Dylan, The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Donovan, Vashti Bunyan, Simon and Garfunkel, Joanna Newsom, Liz Phair, Tori Amos, Bjork, Radiohead, Fiona Apple, PJ Harvey, R.E.M., De La Soul, Johnny Cash, Black Moth Super Rainbow, Eshniner Forest, Visitations, Casper and the Cookies, Stationwagon, Hope for a Goldensummer, Of Montreal, Neutral Milk Hotel, Music Tapes, Clapping Hands, The Orchid Pool, Natural Bridges, The Capricorns, Marshmallow Coast
Movies
Lord of the Rings, Princess Bride, Amelie, Chicago, Napoleon Dynamite, The Sound of Music, Cinderella, Some Like It Hot, A Christmas Story, Gone With the Wind, The Wizard of Oz, Labyrinth, The Dark Crystal, all of Michael Moore's films, and I like my collection of cheesy 1950s-60s low-budget sci-fi classics.
Television
I think most modern TV is crap (OK--except for The Office and Flight of the Conchords), but I like to watch these old TV shows on DVD: The Simpsons, The Muppet Show, Pee Wee's Playhouse, Twin Peaks, Looney Tunes, old Disney cartoons, Mister Rogers Neighborhood (which isn't on DVD yet but I can sometimes get through scratchy antenna reception). When I'm at the in-laws, I admit I have a soft spot for watching home improvement shows.
Books
Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Hobbit, The Greatest of Marlys (and pretty much anything Lynda Barry has written is awesome), the Harry Potter series, Gone With the Wind, Pride and Prejudice (all Jane Austen, really), Memoirs of a Geisha, Sweet Pickles books, Gabrielle Bell's comics, C.S. Lewis' books, Wuthering Heights, Stitch and Bitch Nation, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare, The Bell Jar, Ariel, Warde Thang

Wasn't it great! My friend made that whole costume! She made the hair from poster board and glued cotton balls to it and then spray painted the whole thing blue. Everyone thought she had the best costume!
Well there are these mexican cards called Loteria. I love them! You can play so many different things with them. In my spanish class last year we played bingo. My profile picture was taken at a friends house. She loves to draw and she drew some to hang in her kitchen and thats what I'm standing in front of! I think she did an amazing job!
We just cracked open your red pepper jelly last weekend (which I was so excited to score during dirty bingo). It is SO GOOD! I love it! We'll get the empty jar back to you eventually...
