It takes time to get to know me; a fact that has helped and hurt along the way. I am painfully shy and oddly quiet upon first impression, almost entirely due to an obligation to protect the innocent from my rampant sarcasm, terrible puns, and strident opinions.
Don't worry, you probably don't fall into any of those categories. ...and if you do, it's unlikely you'd ever recognise those traits in yourself. If you do classify yourself as any of the above, I'll probably still like you for your self awareness.
