He grew up in Queens, New York and started playing BASS GUITAR at 13 years old. Attended Fiorellio Laquardia High School of Music & Art where he studied under IAJE award winning jazz educator Justin DiCioccio.While attending High School he became friends with Arista recording artist BERNARD WRIGHT.The friendship lead to him meeting many artist on the GRP roster including the production team Larry Rosen and Dave Grusin.During those years he would perform with jazz legends BUDDY RICH, MEL LEWIS and LIONEL HAMPTON.During a performance at the world famous Cotton Club he was recruited into the band "Steppinstone" lead by Grammy Award nominee KASHIF.The group would be instrumental in preproduction recordings of many classic R&B titles we enjoy today.
As a Member of "PRINCE CHARLES AND THE CITY BEAT BAND" recorded on Virgin Records from the early to mid 1980's.The group's sound incorporated funk,rap and rock.The band traveled worldwide with DURAN DURAN on their "Union of the Snake" tour.He was a member of the DENROY MORGAN BAND supporting his platinum single "I'll Do Anything For You ". Also, a member of the JOHNNY KEMP BAND supporting his platinum single "Just Got Paid".
During the 1990's as a featured soloist he recorded with "READY 4 REALITY", a contemporary jazz ensemble on Next Plateau Records which featured some of the finest musicians in New York.The band toured worldwide with label mate SYBIL supporting her platinum single "Don't Make Me Over".He received a RIAA Certified Gold Award for his work with saxophonist NAJEE on the "Just an Illusion" CD.The new millenium would lead to studio projects with actress "OPHELIE WINTER", Japanese sensation "TOSHINORI YONEKURA" and Arista recording artist "TOYA".
Other Recording/Performance credits include; Andre De Shields, Obba Babatunde, Peter Erskine, Mike Mainieri, McCoy Tyner, Kenwood Dennard, Bobby Broom, Thomas Chapin.

Shalom, Kim! Jesus is the Prince of Peace (Sar Shalom, in Hebrew). You may have already known that the word “shalom” means peace. But actually, it has several meanings in the Hebrew. Shalom means peace, completeness, prosperity, safety, contentment, health, blessing, and rest — and not only that. Shalom is the common word for hello and goodbye.
So, when you greet someone or bid them a farewell “shalom”, what you are actually doing is speaking all those blessings upon them — and really, speaking over them the ultimate peace, Jesus, Himself!
This is the time to speak shalom over one another! So much work to be done!
