I will offer my PubliSistah services pro-bono for a music publisher percentage--but you gotta be good, or have a seriously bent identity, and you gotta know how to use email.
About me: 05Jul09 Latest vision :: Disruptive technologist adept at visualizing and invoking the next generation of artist promotion tools.
01Jan09 The rub :: We're percolatin' again at Beatsforsale.com-- Jap Jap's helping me make sure of this! Check us out later on in ..09! Make it happen, yo!
Musical background :: Before I started writing music reviews, I DJ'd (pop, punk, noise, techno/industrial, world beat, reggae, jazz, ambient, hip-hop) and volunteered at my college radio stations (1988-90 WFIT-FM, Melbourne, FL -- nominated as one of the Top College Radio Stations by CMJ (1988 & 1989) -- & 1991 WREK-FM, Atlanta, GA). I was also formally trained for about 10 years on a veritable plethora of brass instruments---Trumpet, French Horn, Tuba, Sousaphone, Baritone, Mellophone. Occasionally, I'll still toot a few notes on my beat-up Ambassador Trumpet; and at one time, MAD! electro-scientist Mike DeJong turned them into supreme horn lines. I still like to bang on a tom-tom and hi-hat and publish music/beats.
'Claims to fame' :: The first peeps in the history of the i-net (8/3/1999) to put a viable web site model online at Beatsforsale.com for downloading beats and makin' your world wiggly. We were also one the first to post a virtual DJ to grace your heap of plastic and metal world and land of 1's & 0's. I'm prettyyyy sure I was one of the last promoters/publicists who believed in the old skool method of artist development. Genitorturers first publicist/tour manager (circa 1989) -- no foolin'.
