I LOVE music..... just about any kind. I can go from AC/DC to Yanni to Tim McGraw -- with just about everything inbetween! I don't like rap... I can't understand most of it, and what I do understand, is kind of mysogynistic (love that word!) Some of my favorites are Journey (LOVE them!!), Eagles, Nickleback, Rascal Flatts, Sarah McLachlan, Goo Goo Dolls, Phil Collins, almost anything from the 80s (Great decade for music!!) I like shows such as Medium, Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, SVU... I'm really into the crime drama stuff. Oh, I love American Idol, especially once it gets down to the final 12! And there's also a new show on called The Starter Wife that I really like with Debra Messing... she's so funny!

My job is being a Mom. In trying to decide the best way to describe myself, that's what I keep coming back to. It doesn't define who I am, but it is the most important job in my life at this time. I believe there is always room for improvement and I'm not perfect, but I try to be the best Mom possible... and I feel that I am usually pretty successful at that! My kids are happy and well-adjusted, although a bit spoiled at times, and I can live with that. :) I have a 23-year-old stepson, Christopher, who is an absolutely awesome young man! Unfortunately, our relationship isn't all I'd like it to be, but hopefully time will help with that. Robyn, my stepdaughter, is 18 and a freshman at University of Las Vegas... I know she's having a great time there but we still miss her here! :( My oldest, Stephanie, will be 18 in December and is everything I'd hoped she'd be.... She's a very intelligent, beautiful, mature young lady -- she's a senior now -- that just doesn't seem possible!! Sabrina is 7, in second grade, and is such a fun kid! We have a special bond -- she's most definitely a momma's girl! And then there's Lexie, who turned 4 in July... she's the "baby" of the family and in preschool.
