I was born with Muscular Dystrophy and utilize a power wheelchair. Thankfully, the Lord blessed me with a mom who taught me that I was no different from anyone else. Love You, MOM! I also learned at a young age that God had a purpose for EVERYONE. I always knew my purpose was to be a singer. I have been singing for over 30 years. I can't remember a time when I wasn't singing. I sang in school, church, talent shows, and karaoke contests. I even won a trip to the Bahamas! I wanted to be a star. I wanted everyone to know my name. It was all about me. Then, something changed. The closer I got to the Lord, the stranger it felt to be singing pop music. One day, a beautiful friend of mine from North Carolina, Susan Trent, told me that there was something so special about me when I sang to the Lord. I was meant to sing Christian music. From that point on, that's all I wanted to do. I wanted to Glorify HIM! I wanted to bring hope to those who were hurting. I wanted to point them to the power of the cross! Life hasn't been easy. I suffered the physical death of many close friends and the emotional death of myself. I didn't believe that God would make it happen. It's hard to rest in His perfect timing. We all struggle with that from time to time. With the Lord, all things are possible. He is our Hope and our guiding light. The Lord's calling gave me the desire to serve Him even more. I wanted to share the things that He has taught me with others. In September of 2005, I became a Certified Christian Life Coach. My hope and joy is to help those who are wrestling with life's many challenges including disability, addictions, self-esteem, co-dependency, lack of purpose, and most of all lost souls. My mission is to empower people with the love of Jesus. It is because of Jesus dying for our sins and overcoming death by his resurrection that we are saved. If we Believe. With HIM, ALL things are possible. He is the One who gives us life, power over sin, strength and peace in times of trouble, and HOPE. Hope that one day we will be free from our warring flesh. Hope for a new tomorrow where there will be no more sin, shame, or pain. Hope that we will one day receive a new body that is completely perfect! It is then that we will truly understand the meaning of HEAVEN.
