KIMMIE HORNE, is a consummate entertainer! A native Detroiter, KIMMIE HORNE is considered by many to be one of the most outstanding Performer Recording Artist to emerge from this area in years! Her beautiful alto voice coupled with her unmatched ability to perform and entertain puts her in a category of her own.


Billed occasionally as the "KIMMIE HORNE" Show, features classy blends of Jazz, Pop and Rhythm and Blues, KIMMIE HORNE takes her audiences on a journey through time and an electrifying ride through various musical idioms.


From Toronto to Japan, from London to Jamaica, including featured performances all over the United States, encompassing Atlantic City and Las Vegas, this tall, beautiful and dynamic young lady has the complete package.


Having been compared to such legendary artist as, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald and Lena Horne, KIMMIE'S performances revitalizes their collective spirits. She has the sass of Shirley Bassey, the sensuous whisper of Sade, the octane drive of Josephine Baker and the sultry jazz interpretations of the great ones like Phyllis Hyman, Nina Simone.


Proudly she delivers her current hit songs "Lullaby of Birdland" and "So Nice To Come Home To" featured on many popular radio stations.

KIMMIE HORNE has been featured in concerts with such notables as En Vogue, The Temptations, The O'jays, Martha Reeves, Stanley Clark, Ahmad Jamaal, The Neville Brothers, Pieces of A Dream, Angela Bofil, The Contours, Aretha Franklin and forthcoming Michael Bolton.


KIMMIE HORNE represented the United States in the "Legends of Jazz in Jamaica". She has performed at the "Emmy Awards", the "World Premier" of Eddie Murphy's "Beverly Hills Cop III" and the "Superbowl", Caesar's Palace, Las Vegas; Trumps Plaza, Atlantic City; Casino Windsor, Mandalay Bay's, Motor City Casino and the Greektown Casino in Detroit.


KIMMIE HORNE was voted: "Casino performer of the year 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004" by the Casino Writers Guild of America!


KIMMIE HORNE has performed in every major festival in the area, including the "Montreux Jazz Festival", Rochester's "Music In the Park", The Motor City Blues Festival, Gemini Jazz Festival, Buffalo, NY; Freedom Hill Amphitheater, Sterling Heights; Michigan Taste Festival and scores of Corporate shows and has sang the American and Canadian National Anthems for the Detroit Pistons, Detroit Tigers and The Detroit Lions!


Her energies are endless and her talents endure, as she presently promotes her new CD, KIMMIE HORNE, "High Standards", a contemporary rendition of Jazz standards on a "Selected Cities" Tour, sponsored by Budweiser!
