Born in Norwich in 1986, Kim Ralls grew up surrounded by a substantial music collection. The likes of Lynyrd Skynyrd and the Allman Brothers were early influences, although folk acts such as Show of Hands, Fairport Convention and Bob Dylan have become strong influences.
At the age of seventeen, Kim picked up the guitar for the first time and hasn't stopped playing since.
He's still looking for fame, fortune and a free meal.

Grand tunes mr Kim. Are you still awaiting a free meal from your music? I would say, get into the villages. Take them by surprise, and start playing right in the empty middle of the nearest beautiful local rural community. Give it time, give it time...and when you've played 45 minutes with no-one about, they'll all come at once to through money at you.
Then to the local pub go, and eat. It's a perfect local economy booster, and almost undeniably successful. Even the people who want you to go away will pay you to see it hapen, and there are others who will be softened and delighted by the new musician who has chosen their village as a venue.
Busking is the way. It's about the audience of individuals, not the mob of thousands or more.
If you aim for the heart, you'll get your bellyful.
All the best, and please keep making them tunes. We'll see you in the countryside when we get up your way.
