myspace profile woes

stokedi wish i could figure out how to do this myspacemusic page edits... the regular myspace page seemed much easier to edit....under profile here i only get to edit the upcoming shows...the band...etc. anyone please tell me what the heck to do...
i looked at "apps" and got even more overwhelmed...i don't understand about how to add friends if i don't have their email addy. how do i get all of my friends to show up, not just the "top 8"
i look at the forums here and see lots of similar questions and don't see answers..
