About me: Oh well, where to start? About two years ago, my fiance Darrin and I started, what i thought was going to be a small rabbit business. Originally I wanted to raise rabbits for domestic purposes, just because i love them so, and we quickly came to realize that it wasnt to stop there. I bought our first rabbit Beefalo for Darrin's birthday, and after he won numerous showings, we realized that we could do so much more.
Two years later, with help from Hands Lacewell, we're well on our way to being one of the top breeders in the country. We currently keep between 120-170 rabbits, depending on how many we breed regularly. We've been frequent participants at the rabbit shows here in the Midwest, and have hopes on branching out to other states.
Darrin handles the business side of the deal, he keeps the pedigrees and the breeding schedules, building the cages among other things. I am the care giver, I make sure my babies have their food and water, I make sure their cages are clean and just generally make sure they have the life i wish i had. haha
Who I'd like to meet: Our hopes are to meet fellow breeders for networking, and to potentially grow our business even more.
