About me: People call me Skipper because I believe the world will be a much happier place when skipping becomes a more acceptable thing for adults to do.
It breaks my heart that the majority of people in "the land of the free and the home of the brave" can't let go of worrying about what others might think of them enough to skip joyfully down the street. So I've dedicated my life to helping rewrite the unspoken rule that says "adults don't skip."
I have been promoting skipping via my http://www.iskip.com website since 1999. I have skipped on the mountaintop of an amazing amount of national media exposure and I have skipped through the valley of shattered dreams and financial ruin...I am currently working as a pulicist at an amazing publishing company and am scaling the wall of writing my own book. What a long strange skip it continues to be.
These days my own skipping has become a lot more sacred and less public. I'm not sure what comes next for the "skipping movement" but I still love to imagine how the world would change if every town in the world had even one inspired skipper...Someone who skips with the clear intention of doing their part to make the world a little bit happier. Someone who joyfully skips to the beat of their own drummer as they remind others what freedom looks like.
Who I'd like to meet: Awake individuals who can hear their hearts and dare to follow them. People who say YES to their dreams.
Kindred spirits with a clear intention of contributing as much positive energy to our world as possible.
Do gooders. Free spirits. Yogis. Dancers. Skippers. Bubble blowers. Meditators. Burners. Prayers. Anyone who wants to make the world a more positive, loving place.
