About me:

I worry over the problems of others, while in the mean-time, I have more than plenty of my own. I have an innate desire to be helpful, however, being human also means that I make mistakes. I often delve into things without first waiting to be given permission and naturally find it necessary to give advice, all without being prompted. I suppose these traits can cause people, even friends, to see me as a prying sort of person. The truth is I can’t help wanting to be helpful…it’s something stronger than me.

People always seem to take the easy route, and, instead of discussing why they may be upset with me, decide to just cut me off. Everyone is of course entitled to making their own choices in life but I have to say, that way of going about life is just plain selfish. If you really care about someone, you tell them what it is that they’ve said or done that put you off, that way they will understand and hopefully learn from it, and perhaps give apologies where they are due.

I always thought friendship was all about being open and honest with one another…am I wrong? I sure hope not. ..
