The Kindle Racing team is Brittany and Jeramy Kindle, high-school sweethearts that have goals in life that break down the barriers of what is thought possible. Through dedication and determination, they believe that anything is possible, and that we should all 'Expect Everything.'
Kindle Racing began touring nationally in 2003 from their home state of Texas driving seperate vehicles around the country. Brittany dominated the NOPI CHIC class, winning four of the ten races in her very first season, while also learning to drive a high-powered Honda CRX in the professional ranks of the Pro-Stock class. After the 2003 season, operations were moved to New York City and the great folks at Impo Performance near Philadelphia, took our team into their shop as their own. During the off-season, Jeramy built a pioneering Civic with a K-Series engine, and it proved to be very consistent on the track. Development woes that come with new products and ideas, kept the team from dominating the season, but they kept up their winning tradition. In the shop, Jeramy was working on another K-Series Civic for the Pro-Stock class in 2005, but an offer from GM Racing put Kindle Racing on a different path.
In 2005, Brittany raced her Phase 5 Chevy Cobalt, powered by an impressive 535hp ECOTEC powerplant paired with a Hydra-Matic transmission with much success. Class rules made the vehicle more difficult to drive, but Brittany was determined to prove the reliability and consistentcy of the team, vehicle and herself. She completed 69 passes during 2005 with not one mechanical issue, put her Chevy Cobalt in the winners circle on multiple occasions and exceeded all personal goals for the season.
The Sport Compact Drag Racing community had embraced and helped Kindle Racing prosper, so in 2006, it was time to give back. An up and coming bracket racer was given the opportunity to drive the Phase 5 and won his very first race! Multiple scheduling woes cut the 2006 season very short, Kindle Racing was only able to attend four races, IAS and SEMA.
Kindle Racing moved back to Texas for 2007 and took a year off from touring. With the collapse of the two major sanctioning bodies, Kindle Racing will continue to maintain our vehicle and race locally, but does not have any immediate plans to tour nationally.
Continued thanks are due to Marty Ladwig, and the numerous other individuals and organizations that have made this journey irreplaceable in our hearts!
