Kinfolks Mountain Shop is located in downtown Manitou Springs, CO and has been locally owned and operated since we opened in June 2004. Kinfolks is much more than your average outdoor shop. In addition to the bike shop and our quality merchandise for cyclists, runners, hikers, campers, and climbers, we run our store as a community center. The back half of the shop features a bar where we serve beer, wine, and coffee. You can find friends at the bar, relax in our creek-side seating on the porch, or drink while you shop. You can even bring your dog! Join us on Friday and Saturday evenings for live music, featuring the many local folk, bluegrass, and acoustic acts in the area.
Kinfolks is no ordinary outdoor store. Here you can come down from a hike on the Barr Trail, have a beer on the porch with your dog, listen to live music, and pick up a new pack - all at the same time!
DIRECTIONS From Colorado Springs on U.S. Highway 24, take the Manitou Avenue exit. Drive west on Manitou Avenue for 1.3 miles and find parking on the street. Kinfolks is on your right as you come into town from Highway 24.
