Bennie's admiration for Elvis Presley began at age 5...shortly after "The King" left us. He would draw on the famous sideburns, then dance and lip-sync in front of the mirror to Elvis' records. After a visit to Graceland in the summer of 1982, another true Elvis fan was born. Then, in 2001 at a Halloween costume/karaoke contest, Bennie entered as "Elvis" with a jumpsuit he made himself...and won 1st place! That night, when someone asked if he was a professional, it sparked an interest in Bennie to become an Elvis Tribute Artist. "There's no greater privilege to me than to be able to share the memory of the greatest entertainer the world has ever known with other fans like myself".

Bennie Wheels is a natural-born entertainer. His energy and sincerity has awed thousands of Elvis fans nationwide. Bennie's look, voice, moves, charisma and costumes are all authentic...and make him one of the top ETA's in the world. Whether it's in front of one person or thousands, Bennie puts his complete heart and soul into every performance. Recently, Bennie has added another music icon, Johnny Cash, to his tribute artist repertoire. The same energy, genuineness, and artistic inspiration are used to make "The Man in Black" come alive once more as Bennie pays homage to one of the true American music legends. Bennie amazes as only Bennie can with his command of the Johnny Cash stage presence. He's even been known to have a special guest join him for those special Johnny Cash/June Carter duets.
