King & Cousin are Adriaan Leroy and Peter Neefs, both 22 year old Belgians with a passion for music.
Despite their young age they already played on the biggest dj-events of Belgium (10 Days Off, Laundry Day), some other highlights in their still young dj-career are their sets at Café Capital (Antwerp), the many gigs at STUKcafé (Leuven) & Hotel Bloom (Brussels), and the broadcasting of their mixtape at Pure Fm on Cosy Mozzy’s radioshow ‘Dirty File’
They both are vinyl collectors and in those 3 years they managed to get a lot of old school rarities and fresh 80’s records. Their dj-sets are a blend of 80’s synthpop, italodisco, cosmic balearic beats, chicago house, new disco & electro tunes and even melodic Detroit techno & soulful deep house.
They recently started their own blog called ‘Swingers Blog’ and will start off with their own party concept at Rumba&Co, Leuven called ‘Swingers Club’ first edition 12 november 2009
Their objectives are very clear, they just want to play their favorite tunes as much as possible and everywhere they can. Don’t expect noisy rave records or a set full of mash-ups but an original dj-set with vinyl records!
