**AMP MAGAZINE:
THE APPLICATORS "My Weapon" CD
Reviewed by Billy Bad Breaks (AMP MAGAZINE)
I don't think I have ever played a CD and immediately thought these are the next big thing!I am a cynical 40-year-old punk, who has never been a big fan of the recently successful pop-punk bands. However, these 5 gals from Texas have the genre totally whipped on this sophomore release. My Weaponhas hooks galore, vocal harmonizations and a driving rhythm section. I won't bore you with useless comparisons to The APPLICATORS, do yourself a huge favor and be the one of the first to discover this rocking band. New record label!!! Excellent distribution...we're looking for a few active bands RIGHT NOW (please don't bother us with your bullshit...PUNK/HARDCORE and the likes ONLY..and attempting to play outside your sister's keg parties helps as well)!!! We want to keep our releases to a minimum inorder to have the time to give each release the attention it diserves so no band gets "lost" in the pile! We're also interested in distributing your music as well, so if you have merchandise that needs to get out there, let us know. Message "attn: Destin" here and he'll give out an address for bands to send demos direct (CD Demos only). Split releases and comps coming up, so let us know about your band for consideration. Cheers.

Under The Volcano zine issue 94 (Nov/Dec)-
The Applicators "My Weapon" (www.myspace.com/kingfingrrecords and www.hairball8.com). I was lucky enough to catch The Applicators tearing it up live in Dallas a few years ago when they opened for the U.S. Bombs and Circle Jerks. As I entered the venue, The Applicators were furiously rockin' their lovely lil' hearts out, and I immediately fell in love: L-U-V! I enthusiastically bought one of their t-shirts right then and there, and I wore the damn thing religiously ever after more until it literally became a bundle of tattered rags. So I'm quite naturally stoked that The Applicators have recently released their second full-length blast of jubilantly intoxicating Pop Punk sounds. My Weapon is a giddy 12-song rush of catchy hooks, dazzling melodies, infectious harmonies, and unabashedly enthralling musical genius. As I listen to it over and over and over again with the utmost of slobbery-lipped glee, I cannot help but think of The Applicators as a leaner, meaner, more streetwise version of The Go-Go's, Fuzzbox, and Elastica combined into one gloriously rockin' swirl of frantic pogo-bouncing energy. Damn, it's obviously past due time for me to add a new Applicators t-shirt to my wardrobe! (CD)-Moser:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::Under The Volcano zine issue 94 (Nov/Dec)-The Loose Skrews
"Have Another Brew" (www.myspace.com/kingfingrrecords and www.hairball8.com). Hailing from the boonies and barrooms of Georgia, The Loose Skrews unleash a filthy, menacing barrage of hammer-fisted musical mayhem that's equal parts Scum Rock and Rotgut Punk. With such frenetic, whiskey-wrecked songs as "When The Going Gets Tough", "Try And Fail", "First Comes The Bottle", "Don't Ask You For Nothing", "Loose Skrew Brew Crew", "Drink Up You Bastards", "Fuck With Me Not", and "Boozed Up And Burned Out", The Loose Skrews guide the listener straight to Hell in a barbwire-weaved handbasket. Their aim is obvious: gettin' drunk, brawlin', and livin' the crapped-out hand the wicked bitch called life deals on a daily basis. Who could ask for anything more? (CD)-Moser

Hi there KING FING'r records first of all we'd like to say thanks for being our myspace pal. We wanted to make sure you knew the reason incase we suddenly vanish off of your friends list. The movement we've started for indie artists has grown significantly and consumes all of our time these days. We seldom sign into our myspace account and this is making several people believe that we are ignoring them. We are not ignoring anyone, we wanted everyone to know that. What we're doing has become so busy we just don't have the time for myspace any longer, so in all honesty we are probably going to just close our myspace account.
Many people wanted to use us in the future so if you were one of those people make sure you bookmark the link below so that in the event that we do close our myspace account you won't lose contact with us. I wish you the best of luck in your music career. Thanks again for being our myspace pal.
We have also built a pretty big music community which you are welcome to join if you want to meet new artists like yourself!
