King Kong Jane is an indie rock band based in Singapore. After performing at alternative music festival Baybeats in 2007, King Kong Jane went on to win band competition Powerjam in the following year. In 2008, the band was named Best English Local Act in The Sunday Times, and "If It Wasn't For You" was chosen by radio station Power 98 as one of the the year's Top 5 Local Songs. King Kong Jane is currently working on a debut album with Leonard Soosay of Snakeweed Studios, and plans to release it in late 2009.
