Not many people know this, but Pete was a sniper in Vietnam and had the highest kill rate of any sniper in the US Army. He also mixes his colors in his laundry.
hey pete, how was that show the other night? sorry i couldn't go, i had to hang with my bro. If you're interested i think i'm going to go check out milele roots tomorrow afternoon over at the hunter. later.
i guess we all get sloppy sometimes. It is necessary for us to realize the importance of bonding with others. i appreciate the comment. truth is, i am usually rather disappointed with everything. a weakness in perspective that i am working out. conflicting because often believing i am right.
if you say we are family then we are family. i think we would have to communicate more for it to grow. to the wayside it will fall otherwise is my feeling.
hope you are well; tell heather, the cats, and dog i said hello; keep studying christianity, because i enjoy discussing it with you; read the Case for Faith by Strobel; send a naked track for me to conjunctionalize.
i miss most our walk in the woods. you remind me of a guy with whom i grew up. we use to walk for miles and miles in the woods, sometimes to where we would have to fight our way through, in order to get lost. only never to get lost; near the railway.
I'm downloading the podcast now... interesting! I love the name Ravi. Guess what? I'm commenting from CHICAGO. Well, Wilmette, technically. I miss you!
Hey Pete-
Sorry it's taken me so long to respond abt the question re: Sleater-Kinney. I own every complete album that they have released. Are you a musician yourself?
I would let you use some of my lyrics except i don't have stock lyrics. i use everything i write. besides pete they are just words. i don't spit anything profound. you have beautiful lyrics . thanks for the kind request. check out my videos dick and let me know what you think. i haven't heard shit from ya yet on them. i spent a lot fot tmecreating them for your enjoyment and nothin. preciate. :) later pater
"A song has a definite beginning, middle, end. There is a climax, there is conflict and resolution, sometimes there are little side-trips. The instruments should support the singer, not the other way around."
i disagree with you. for someone who projects the notion of thinking outisde the box, this statement is narrow minded. songs are different in all cultures. yeah, the format you describe has been exploited very well in western society, but it does not define what it means to be a song. whatever, i guess it is extraneous to give constructive criticism. you wrote back with this put out attitude, so forget it. don't say things about the music, doesn't matter. i do accept myself otherwise i wouldn't make myself vulnerable by posting my creations. as far as the auto tune sounding phony, i like that about it. it bluntly exaggerates the fact that we are machines. skin and meat covered robots.
peter peter pumpkin eater had a wife but could not keep her. thank you for the nice comment on the new song, but come on. give me some MORE..constructiveness. your input is invaluable to me. talk to you soon. you dual man you.
Thank you for listening to the material and leaving me such a nice message. i am trying to switch it up. work with different styles. we haven't hung out it a while. we need to. i listened to the new ones on Forslag. they are all ones i have heard before but doesn't matter they had a freshness to them. i really like you songwriting. you obviously know what your doing. tradtional jazz, rock and roll, bluesy. you do it all basically. your recording and mixing skills are very good. what are some of the good days for you to hang out? i'd like to soon. later peter. thanks again for stopping by. i will have a waltz up in a couple days that you might like.
