Our band includes Eileen, who has performed at the Bethlehem Music Fest and the Concerts Under the Stars. On Dobro and banjo is Ray, who serves as the house guitarist at the legendary Mermaid Inn, when hes not playing with the Acoustic Justice League. On bass, cello and vocals is Jim, the only member of the Wissahickon String Quartet ever to back up Chuck Berry. Out in front is Jake the guy who sounds like James Taylor whose ukuleles, cavaquinhos and cuatros, help give the CD its tropical feel.

OUR SPANISH LYRICS GOT US KICKED OFF OF CRAIGS LIST
Well, here's our little story. We're just a band trying to get by, so we figured we would post our Spanish language version of "America the Beautiful" on the musician's discussion room of Craig's List, just in case any other musicians wanted to use them. Was it partially a PR stunt? Sure.
I should preface this by saying that I posted these same lyrics on another "political" discussion page (i.e. butt-heads cursing each other), and within seconds I got a flurry of brutally insulting e-mails, with potty-mouth aplenty. But, I figured musicians would be a cooler headed group, so I went to Craigs List.
As it happens, I never got the chance to find out. Within about 20 minutes, the authorities at Craig's List deleted my post. I guess it was just too controversial to sing a song in a language other than the one in which it was written. They were just being cautious, and justifiably so. Its a little known fact, but the English version of Girl from Ipanema was actually responsible for the rise of Stalinism.
At the risk of getting deleted, yet again, I will re-post these lyrics here (FYI, your grandmother from Iowa would approve of these. I'm no Wyclef Jean.):
