About me:

Kings For A Cause is an National Drag Event created by the Emeritus Mister King of the Desert USofA MI, Anson Reign, of Phoenix, Arizona that brings together Drag King troupes all over the country in a one of a kind fundraising event!

Kings For A Cause will be held on August 28th, 29th, and 30th of 2009! If you are planning a local Kings For A Cause show, please select one of the above dates. The Scottsdale, Arizona Kings For A Cause event will be known as the "Home Base" show, and is taking place at Forbidden, 6820 E 5th Avenue, Scottsdale, AZ 85251 on Friday, August 28th. Show time is 8:30pm, doors open at 8:00pm with a suggested $3 donation.

Kings For A Cause brings together Drag King Troupes all over the country for ONE WEEKEND of incredible performances! Multiple cities throughout the country will present a drag show on the same night with 75% of the proceeds going toward the local charity of their choice, and the other 25% going to the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force.

We can come together for a common good and raise money on both the local and national levels while promoting the art of Male Illusion and working together as a community!

    Hey, I'm leaving on a cruise ship for a couple months, so I won't have
    access to Myspace until I get back.  But I'll be sure to let you know
    when we do our big shows in Phoenix! I hope to talk to you when I get

    The 2nd Annual Mr All American Studd Pageant will be held Sunday, September 20, 2009 at The Atrium. The pageant will be hosted by Mr Joe Jackson and will feature the current reigning Mr All American Studd all the way from Baltimore, Maryland, Mr Romance St. James and the newly crowned Miss All American Femme, Ms Khamillion Dickerson-Couture.

    Presentation is Men of Honor - Military Uniforms.

     

    Winner receives $2000 - $1200 night of pageant, crown and trophy

    1st place $450 and trophy

    2nd place $250 and trophy

    3rd place $150 and trophy

     

    Tickets and tables are on sale NOW!!! Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. Tables are $15 and seat 4. There is one VIP section that seats 15-20 people that is also on sale (please call for more info on VIP section). Ads are $40/full page and $25/half page. If ads have to be created there is a $10 fee. All ads are full color. The deadline for ads is September 10th.

    If you are a contestant or have a contestant the deadline for entry fees is approaching fast. The entry fee is $200 if paid by August 20th after August 20th there is a $50 late fee.

    I can honestly say that this is one of the best shows I have every seen. They have 10 contestants that perform weekly as YOU the audience send someone home every week until its down to 1! Its entertaining, the crowd is amazing, and its at your favorite bar. . . AND NOW it's new and approved as MSR took advantage of some down town and remodeled the place for a new stylish look! You have to see this!

    The REUNION show is JULY 17th - save that date and remember from that date forward, MSR is the only pace to be on Fridays!!!

    Show starts July 31st- come support your favorites and come join the fun!
