| About Zero Kings |
Zero Kings consist of four musicians well seasoned in the world of all things music; combining many years of stage experience, touring experience, and life experience. Gone are the days of trying to impress people with tricks, image, or mirrors. This band prefers to plug in and go.
A band that merges with the crowd, ZK interacts with the entire room, and is quick to pick up on the vibes people are putting out. Whether it is a hard hitting in your face driving tune with screaming guitars, or a laid back 4-part harmony-laced ballad, you will be impressed with the dexterity, adaptability & talent that is Zero Kings forte.
No, they aren’t twenty-something musicians with guitars slung to their knees; No, they won’t be doing back flips, splits, or any double-jointed slight of hand tricks; No smashing of guitars, exploding amps, or digital screens to be seen; No passed-out, MIA, or otherwise occupied band members to worry about either. These games have all been played many times over, and yep, ZK is well passed all that.
What you will encounter is a party band that can make a room jump. Two guitarists who can play any style with equal versatility. A Bassist who holds nothing back; with a driving force that belies his stellar abilities on the instrument itself. A drummer who injects heavy dose of power into ZK’s rock cocktail; combining precise timing with the free-for-all attitude so necessary in rock-n-roll. It’s that mixture that kick starts and motivates ZK every time they hit a stage.
Vocally, you will have to struggle to hear a better live band. A lead vocalist with range and adaptability is a rare find in today’s playlists of alternative rap/screaming vocalists. Being able to perform the songs each night is another talent lost in today’s world. One look at the ZK Songlist should verify the vocal prowess that ZK encompass. This band takes extreme pride in its vocal performance as a unit, spending a lot of time and effort in perfecting the harmonies that separate ZK from average bands.
Zero Kings use top quality equipment that ensures professionalism. There is enough gear to crank it up and fill a big room, at the same time the knowledge that that volume isn’t everything. The days of huge light shows are a thing of the past, but ZK has a show that directly affects a song’s mood, and will augment the performance to your eyes.
In the end, you simply have a powerhouse band with four down to Earth guys that know how important it is to connect with those who pay the money to see them; yet another positive trait lost in today’s sad trend of “Star” attitudes. You won’t work with an easier band to get along with, nor a band so eager to make each gig as much a success for the venue as for ZK themselves. After all, without each other we would not have any success!
