Heroes
My mom raised three boys on her own- I was an angry ungrateful teenage pain in the ass...
still.... she let me live...
My best friend was Cpt. Mike Beaver - WWII uniform expert author, designed popular 911 memorial pin for AA, gave his time & money to help needy inner city teens - gone too soon...
Uncle Howard -landed men at Normandy Beach - nothing bothered him since... what elevated German machine gun nests couldn't do tobacco finally did....
John Lennon (working class hero) bold enough to use his celebrity to preach PEACE in time of war... Keith Green was King David for his era- brilliant songwriter...Rich Mullins honest words from a self admittedly flawed man of God... Jimi Hendrix set the guitar standard for creativity for my generation... Bruce Lee... brought martial arts to American kids...Jackie Chan - I wish I could jump from a low flying helicopter onto a moving hovercraft... or climb the outer wall of a ten story building in two minutes....maybe my other problems would not seem so large
Who I'd like to meet: Paul McCartney.... Rebecca St James....Dave Mustaine....
Kurt Russell ....Jessica Alba .... Paul Newman....
Amy Grant .... Natalie Portman ... Brian May...... Nuno Bettencourt .....
now the fantasy list: ... John Lennon ... Jean Shepherd ... Danny Kaye.... Jimi Hendrix....Keith Green.... Martin Luther King....Rich Mullins....Freddie Mercury.....Phil Lynnott...George Harrison....Steve Martin....Stevie Ray Vaughn...Jon Erik Hexum ...Charlie Chaplin.....
Why are most of the folks I would love to talk to entirely unavailable?
What does that say about me?
.....................................................................................
Here are some famous and talented folks I have spoken with at one time, and or have gottten to know personally:
Zakk Wylde, Phil Keaggy, Steven Baldwin,
George Lynch, John Sykes, Gary Cherone,
Ty Tabor, Randy Stonehill, Gerry Gaskil,
dUg Pinnuck, Bruce Springsteen, Richie Sambora,
Tal Farlow, Steven Van Zandt, Tommy Aldrich, Ozzy Osbourne, Jon Bon Jovi, Alec Such, Geraldo Rivera, Jimmy Vivino........
and last but not least, one of my favorite guitar hero/instructors was named Bernie Brauswetter. He was a kind soul, and he left us too soon.
Bernie was not as famous as he should have been,
given his enormous talents.

Zakk has proved himself by making Ozzy's music better, as in the days of Randy Rhodes.
His sweet little daughter prepares for future stardom here below:
Hey- I saw King's X twice in the same week and their new sound guy has them sounding all messed up. I was so sad because it was their big chance to get some fans that would dig their music. I was there to see Porcupine Tree- they are awesome. What's new?

YAAAAYYYYYY! I tried to add you last week when I started this new page, but it said you didn't accept band requests. So I am really glad you found me! :) What's up!??????
Hey Jon! I know I've been so busy lately that I hardly have a second, I wish I could have come. I heard Sam went though, that's good. And I'm so sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, I have been meaning to write you a letter or a myspace message for awhile now but I'm just forgetful and silly. So so so sorry about this! Hopefully next tuesday will be clear, I've been missing out on some good sessions I'm sure! -Cara
