Kink Ador is a band full of heat, and full of passion; the sound is thick with both the rock and the roll. Their sound is likened to the Talking Heads and the Police.
At the front of Kink Ador is the charismatic and deceptively cute Sharon Koltick, who plays bass guitar and sings lead vocals. Kink Ador songs are written from the point of view of bass guitar as the lead instrument, the groove of the songs stand as the strongest element. The pulse and the beat is driven further by the organic drum sounds, created by Brad Naylor. Then the trio is capped by the dysfunctional rock guitar sounds created by the guitar genius Andrew Sovine.
The collaboration between strong rhythms, meaty lyrics, and classic testosterone filled guitar sounds are what makes Kink Ador different. The sound of Kink Ador is stacked seductively from the bassy bottom rumbling under your feet, all the way up to the vocal melodies that hit you straight in the face. The band is Sharon Koltick on bass and vocals, Brad Naylor on drums, and Andrew Sovine on Guitar, trumpet, and wisk.
Kink Ador has a history of collaboration that is directly due to living in Nashville, TN, Music City. There is a wealth of friendships, with many talented musicians, that has developed around the band. A special ‘Kink Ador and Friends’ show can include guest percussionists, guitarists, horns, and vocalists to fill out the texture of the songs. The band doesn’t jam, but they would love it if you would play guest vibraphone during the chorus of one of the songs.
The Story of the Name: Kink Ador
A band is a soul and body all its own; therefore it should have a name all its own. Sharon identified strongly with the idea of the traveling singer-poets dubbed the troubadours. To bring this ancient moldy term into something sexy fit for rock and roll consumption she added a little kink to the front. Hence, Kink Ador.

With an assembly that includes members of Ministry (Warner Bros.) and Thrill Kill Kult (Rykodisc), it's obvious project .44 has a firm grasp on the aggro/industrial/tek metal scene. Hailing from the industrial/tek-metal capital of Chicago, where pioneers like Ministry paved the way for recent grads like Static-X, project .44 continues the tradition of Chicago's knack for mixing pulverizing guitar licks with catchy dance beats. It is the forging experience that Louis Svitek (Ministry) provides when laying down the tracks that the band transfers to the stage explicitly and explosively.
Also dance all night to resident DJs Copper Top, Zlaya, Krazy Karoline
