In the spring of 2007, the small crowds who caught KINKY RETRO’s early performances around Belgium knew they were hearing something different—music at once both challenging and engaging, built around strong guitar riffs, drumbeats like bayonets with vocals that ranged from elusive and haunting to intimate and heartbreaking. They experienced immediate success. The band, who’d come together after “Fil le rouge”, a night in Bornem’s cultural center in Belgium, realised they were on the right track.
After less than a year, the band released the “Demons & Angels” EP, (8 tracks)
all recorded by Luc Crabbe at Lunabarn studio. Recorded in just 3 days…
Along with a growing reputation for their live shows, the recordings brought critical acclaim and won over a loyal audience, as well as earning the respect of other musicians, radio stations etc…
The band is currently working on a new EP,which they want to see released early 2009. They want to approach the recording of this EP differently—after more than a year in close quarters, working and playing together, they’d reached a new level of collaboration and creative understanding. “We want the record to reflect the vibe that we create live. ......Full on Rock and Roll”
This will serve to solidify KINKY RETRO’s unique sound, showcasing a cohesive and clear vision that marks a new stage in the band’s evolution.

Goal to have the Supreme Court Olmstead decision 6 to 3 Law enforced and have community-based programs for all who qualify for med waiver and consumer directed care which will save the taxpayers approximately 50% and provide opportunities for jobs instead of having disabled institutionalized in a nursing home. Also the George W. Bush presidential Executive Order 13217.Which means it has been designated a nationwide problem! To be Moses for all disabled people to remove the yoke the burden on our disabled back and set disabled people free.Keep Rock 'n rolling on!
