Life doesn't work very well if we don't stay true to the gifts that bring us joy. Returning to music after 20 years of business life, I am astounded to fiind so many talented musicians in Vermont. The singer/songwriter movement is alive and well. With over 20 songs written from earlier days, my revitalized energy has just added another third to that in the last six months. Recording on my computer for now, just to get the songs down, I have formed a band and am thrilled to be bringing these songs alive in performance. In a very short time, the acceleration is heady and breath-taking.
I am also writing a blog entitled "Zen and the Art of the Midlife Crisis" which can be found at my website: http://kipdemoll.com
Too bad the balloon fest was cancelled tonight. We were on our way, and my mother-in-law who works there, said that it was cancelled due to wind. Are you on for tomorrow night instead?
