The new album is called "The Live Sessions", and i named it this because i sat down over a period of about a month or so and recorded these songs that i really feel are so much more me than the first album. As i progress in my musical growth i find that i know so little... its very humbling and inspiring all at the same time. And as i continue to challenge myself to write and compose, i can only ask that you take my music, hold it close to your heart, listen, and see what YOU get out of it.
Thanks to Andy Jackson and Jaquelope Studio's, and Clint Darby for doing the lead in Hide and Seek, I Wonder, The Last Time, Paris, and City Full of Lights.

Influences
John Mayer, Dave Matthews, Nickel Creek, Heather Combs, Sarah Mclachlan, Norah Jones, The Mama's and the Papa's, Toby Lightman, Plumb, Alanis Morrisette, my father, growing up singing in church, Tori Amos, lots and lots of blues, ect.
Only a year after the formation of the band, Kip Traylor along with duo partner Clint Darby went from being named "Montgomery's best kept secret" (Montgomery Advertiser 3/24/05) to being voted the Best Local Club Act of 2005 (Montgomery Advertiser 12/28/05). Kip also competed solo in the "premiere live music venue for singer/songwriter's in the southeast," Eddie's Attic open mic in July 2007, winning the competition and securing her a spot in the "Eddie's Attic Shootout". During 2006, Clint and Kip wrote and recorded their first E.P. as well as completed three regional tours. Kip Traylor began playing professionally about 7 years ago. At age 19 she recorded her first CD which circulated around the Southeastern college circuit immediately gaining fans. Her first full length album entitled "The Other Side of Me" was recorded and released in January of 2007, her second "The Live Sessions" in August of 2008 and is currently writing and working on her third album. She has continued to grow in her vocal style and writing and is working on developing her career as a professional musician/performer. Kip's influences range from artists such as Sarah Mclachlan, Norah Jones, John Mayer and Dave Matthews and are reflected in her writing, lead vocals and rhythm guitar. "I truly believe in the passion of music, the influences I've had growing up seem to come out more and more the further I dig into what I want to do, which is make music," Kip explains, "I want to move people they way that music moves me, that is my definition of success in this business" Traylor is quickly growing beyond her local scene, averaging at least fifteen shows a month and has quickly moved into neighboring cities and states with a strong following. She also came in runner up in the Montgomery Advertiser's 2006 Battle of the Bands, getting to perform for a few thousand people in Jubilee City Fest; a powerful statement about her music and performance considering she was the only acoustic act of the entire day. She also took the stage at Birmingham, Alabama's prestigious Workplay Theater in 2008, playing for around 400. Kip Traylor's career is continuing with her second album "The Live Sessions" which shows her poetic writing style as well as strong harmonies and guitar and has already gained a strong fanbase in the southeast . Kip Traylor is currently performing her new material and can currently be seen performing across the Southeast.
