About Me
Hey guys! I recently had a bio telling you a little bit about myself, now I think it's time I personally tell you who Kira Lee is! I am a 16 year old singer/songwriter who has a passion for acting as well! I love the entertainment world and love be busy with it! I have loved singing since I was a very young age and always had a thing for being in front of people whether is was singing, dancing, acting or even all at the same time. I took dance lessons for a few years and always had interest for writing songs, stories, and poems. My parents put me in vocal lessons at the age of 11 to learn how to work and conrtol different parts of my voice. Once I was about 12, I decided I would like to learn how to play an instrument so I could add music to all these lyrics I wrote! My parents always wanted me to play piano and I always refused, finally I decided it was time. I jumped right into piano very well. I started accompanying myself 7 months into my lessons and started writing at 9 months! After that, I took off. I also have a strong desire for acting and anything musical theater! I have been in a number of local shows and played multiple roles in everything from Sally Simpson in "The Who's Tommy," to Gabreilla Montez in Disneys "High School Musical" and Ulla in "The Producers" and so many others. The role of Gabriella is a character I have been portraying for about 3 years now, for I was with a group who traveled performing a tribute to HSM at childrens birthday parties, community events, and fundraising benefits all over Northeastern Pennsylvania. Along the way of my writing and performing, I had the honor to sing in Carnigie Hall in NYC and also got into the Songwriters Sessions in NYC's Bitter End! Currently, I am teaching myself how to play guitar. My mother is a big help to my career for she is my "Momager" and at the times being and loves keeping me busy with things to do and controlling my life ..ha! I have a lot of inspirations in life. Some are good and some are bad, either way they help me shed my emotions on paper. I would like to dedicate all my music to some very important people. To some of you I can't stand and I hope to never see you again and am very blessed you are out of my life, some of you will never understand me no matter how much you think you do so your energy of trying is empty to me because you don't matter, and finally the rest of my emotion is to those who I will love until the end of time no matter what, and I would do anything for you!! Criticism makes me a lot stronger as long as you know what you're talking about, so please feel free to give me your opinions. I love having new friends and meeting new people! As for those of you who are jealous.... thank you, I am truely flattered!
