i'm kiranda, a simple girl implanted into the beautifully green, rarely hot, and mostly rainy PNW. jamie cullum describes me as a twentysomethin, jason mraz calls me his beautiful mess, and tom petty thinks i belong among wildflowers. a handsome soldier hailing from deep in the heart of texas lovingly calls me his chipmunk. together we have a black/brown chihuahua and a white spotted jack russell terrier who call us mommy/daddy. we just found out that we'll be expecting our first lil chub [of the human variety] in february. we're very excited and can't wait! i'm cautiously spontaneous and tend to follow my hearts desire. i live in the world, but am striving to not be of the world. i love being barefoot whenever possible. i love being out at sea. when i'm not being paid to entertain, i'm writing a love song, walking or cuddling with my daughter, falling deeper in love with my soldier, laughing with my friends, rediscovering my love of the kitchen, being crafty with yarn and a needle, or reading psalms, romans, and james.
YOU. people who laugh loud, love hard, run fast, skip high, walk slow, dream big; people who are in love with life, people who love themselves simply because their uniqueness comes from not fitting into the standard "mold" of the world; people who tell inappropriate jokes and laugh at the wrong times; people who hate me for reasons beyond my imagination; people who love making love, literally and figuratively speaking; dog lovers, jazz stalkers, myspace nerds, romantics, song writers.
i want to meet myself in ten years to see if i've achieved the level of success and happiness that i'm working hard, planning diligently, and dreaming of today.
Okay you guys, another installment from your auntie Allie. Now that you know that you lives are going to change DRASTICALLY in the next 200 days or so, I have one suggestion, do as much together as you can in the way of going out together and solidifying any housing plans...Becaussssse when he or she gets here you will wish you did! The baby's needs come first, you dig? As they should; you all are responsible for raising that baby as healthy and happy as possible! :) Keep the faith and be blessed!
