After having moved to the city of Örebro, Alex discovered his predilection for synthesisers when Weirdo Beardo introduced him to the world of sequencers in the Little Blue Men studio. Years have passed and today Kiriyama is the co-founder of the Swedish power house
Devils Mind Records and the studio group
Checkpoint Music. He's frequently collaborating with the French producer
Hishiryo which has resulted in a number of co-produced tunes having been released, all of them comprising Japanese themes and East Asian influences.
Apart from working with Devils Mind Records Kiriyama has also collaborated with other labels. One year's work was in July, 2009 channelled into a compilation of Scandinavian forest music,
Libération Animale. This CD is the result of Kiriyama's collaboration with the prominent Italian label
Inpsyde Media.
As goes for the Kiriyama sound of today, his style has expanded and it's become more difficult to categorise his music as his style floats across different genres. Although it's common that people think of Kiriyama as a producer of nocturnal trance music, his sound has more of a goaish slant today. With some ten tracks already out and more in the pipeline, he's currently finishing his debut album which is coming out through Devils Mind Records in the near future.
