Hi, I'm Kirk and thanks for visiting my space. I am an Atlanta native and about to release my debut record, American Dreamworld which has been described as New York 60's rock with a conscience. I'm still spinning after finishing American Dreamworld considering I only began to play guitar and write songs six years ago in 2002 while walking in Memphis.
I wear two things around my neck, a cross and the dog tags of Alexander Heath (Army 1944) to remind me that there are people willing to die for things they believe in. I love the outdoors and talk about camping but never go and I can’t keep plants alive. I am a “germaphobe”. I am an aquarius, but I don’t know what that means. I am an equal opportunity eater, both carnivore and vegetarian. I prefer a tall coffee with cream and sugar over a double-grande non-fat latte with whipped cream. I enjoy discussing politics and religion because we all need someone to blame and we all need something to believe in. I believe more time should be spent with the next generation of children if we are to have hope for world. I have a dog and cat but prefer dogs, sorry Maizey.
Favorite yoga positions are Happy Baby and Child’s pose. I love people who do what they say they are going do to. Lastly, I would be happy being content.
Finally, we would like to introduce our entire album, "Pretend That We're Famous" on Itunes now! Just incase you dont already know :D Keep in touch~Sandlot Heroes
MINNEAPOLIS – The $1.92 million verdict against a Minnesota woman accused of sharing 24 songs over the Internet could ratchet up the pressure on other defendants to settle with the recording industry if the big fine can withstand an appeal. In the latest trial, a federal jury in Minneapolis ruled that she must pay $1.92 million for willful infringement of the recording industry's copyrights by posting the music on the file-sharing site Kazaa. Under federal law, the recording companies are entitled to $750 to $30,000 per infringement but the law allows the jury to raise that to as much as $150,000 per track if it finds the infringements were willful. The jury decided on $80,000 per song.
This is so messed up.. but nothing surprises me anymore.. The lady that they are trying to get almost $2 million dollars from is a single mother of 4! So my friends in honor of the recording industry I would like to give you the gift of new music.. Feel free to DOWNLOAD the songs FOR FREE on my page... don’t worry.. I won’t sue you ;) <img .."visibility:hidden;width:0px;height:0px;" border=0 width=0 height=0 src="
