    Regarding Top Street, for no points...what's the point of that? I guess it might be fun every now and then, but our goal was to get to the finals. I doubt Mike would be interested, but I'll mention it.


    Regarding Bobby...I don't want to speculate, cuz I'm not really sure why he hasn't been to the track. OK, I'll speculate (LOL), maybe it's cuz we're not there, maybe it's the gas prices...not really sure. I know he built a new car (same motor/tranny, new chassis and body), but it hasn't ever been down the track. He did a lot of camping this past year, maybe that's his new passion. Mike still talks to him regularly, but he doesn't come by the house like he used to, so I don't know what's going on with him.

    Ugh! Those races are the hardest to get over. I know Mike still thinks about the 2 runner-ups at the finals. I don't remember exactly (but I'm sure he does)...I think the first was by .007 and the secong might have been by .012.


    Don't kick your own butt too hard, you can't win 'em all (even though you usually do).
