...me! a 25 year old learning about (what feels like) everything & anything as she bends, breaks, learns and grows! Should we have it any other way? My music & vocal influences however are diverse in a way that i love beautiful lyrics <3<3<3, chords that can replace the rhythm of your heartbeat or inspire your headthoughts, artists that can communicate a snap-shot moment with a song, a feeling with a word and a performance with substance.
I am easily put in the box of pop/rock by the material I have already recorded and I am pretty cool with this as there is scope for songwriting, substance and performance at every gig. However I have learnt alot these last few years and I have learnt that I love performing alongside an acoustic guitar with more soulful tones, I would love to explore my oice and all you can do with it with more experimental alternative music and that I love Blues Rock...scope for energy like no other! I like freshness and passion in songs and those that reflect truth, sentiment, strength, weakness and a little bit of humour; life.

thankyou to all of you have added/accepted/supported/promoted me at gigs and on MySpace. I just wanted to take this opportunity to extend a huge *hug* and sincere thankyou to all of you...with gigging and travelling so much (and my innate dizziness!), I don't always get the time to thank everyone individually. Everyone's support really does mean so much more to me than you will all know, and it means the world that I can share it with those that not only understand, or appreciate it all but also enjoy it with me too...and a huge welcome to new friends from Australia, Japan, Austria, Turkey, Denmark and the States.....xxxx

A hotly-tipped recording artist from Glasgow, Kirsty’s music is guitar-driven, lyrically inspired rock-pop. Her limitless energy and dominating stage presence has generated a loyal fan-base. Regular live performances across the UK have showcased her material to an audience of over 400,000 people in just over 3 years.
It is not only Kirsty's vocal ability and stunning looks that has made an impact, it's also her bubbly personality that has created a lasting impression on those she meets and has ensured continued attention from journalists, DJs and venues.
In recent months, she has attracted large industry audiences with showcases at the Bullet Bar, Camden and The Carling Academy Islington, London, and is certainly creating a buzz about what 2008 holds for her.
In 2005, Kirsty landed herself the support role with Aussie-soap legend Alan Fletcher - aka Dr Karl Kennedy - and his band 'Waiting Room'. Following great success and support, she went on to join the boys on a total of four sell-out University tours in the UK. These have given Kirsty a platform to showcase her material at Universities & music venues across the UK.
Kirsty has continued the antipodean theme by spending several weeks working with producers and writers in Melbourne, Australia. In November, last year, Kirsty spent two week in Los Angeles co-writing with top producer and songwriter, Mark Goldenberg and this year has been working with Australian singer-songwriter Tommy Rando.
Kirsty is working with some of the industry's most accredited talents. Collectively, they have been behind the success of artists such as Natalie Imbruglia, Jackson Browne, Bonnie Raitt, Linda Ronstadt, Carly Simon, Pointer Sisters, Heather Nova, Mandy Moore, Chris Isaak, Lee Harding, Taxiride & Vanessa Amorosi.
With more time in the studio over the coming weeks and several new showcases lined-up for later in the year, 2008 looks to be a very exciting time for Kirsty..."
