About me: •Mind Unraveling Heart Expansion. My introduction to Yoga came from my Father as a child through the ritual practices of Bhakti Yoga, Vedic chanting and Puja. I grew up sitting with him daily for morning sadhana. It wasn't until my teens when the spark for acquiring a deeper understanding into life's metaphysical and spiritual realms led me to Fine Arts in search of creative expression. I pursued the arts and received a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. I carried out a career as a visual artist which led me back to Paris, France for another three years. Feeling creatively drained and spiritually hungry the practices of Yoga began to manifest in my life once again, in pursuit of something more. I then moved to India for a year of training and sadhana.
•My passion for learning has taken me to India many times to study with Master Teachers. I have completed my teacher trainings in the Himalayas with Swami Govindananda at the Sivananda Yoga & Vedanta Ashram, Advanced Vinyasa Studies with Shiva Rea at Sacred Movement, and several months of study with Sri K. Pattabhi Jois in Mysore, India as well as Lino Miele in Kovalum, India.
I currently reside in Santa Monica, CA finishing a graduate degree in Ayurvedic Holistic Medicine. I teach Vinyasa Flow Yoga at Exhale Center for Sacred Movement in Venice, CA and serve as an adjunct Professor at UCLA in the Dept. of World Arts & Cultures lecturing on East Indian spirituality, philosophy, culture, and the practices of Yoga & meditation.
•My Vinyasa Flow Yoga classes focus on the cultivation of Prana Shakti through breath work and Vinyasa Krama, or sequencing of asanas. They are a dynamic synthesis of solar & lunar energetics providing for a challenging and empowering practice. My intention to seamlessly integrate the sister sciences of Ayurveda and Vinyasa Yoga provides for a unique class with a holistic approach to the mind, body, and spirit. Vinyasa Flow Yoga Classes:

I am the possibility of Transformation. My life has changed in dramatic ways since the days of old, transformation, and the ever changing seems to be the current running through my veins. It is something that I love to share and that's why I do the things I do these days. Practicing yoga, holistic health, are the root of my soul. Would you like to journey with me? It seems like every time I seem to have gotten comfortable, a chrysalis forms, and the metamorphosis takes place, changes, changing, the ever constant, more like evolution of myself, and integration taking place. Flying forward into the present. This is 100% about creation, being in the moment, and shifting with the flow, being in the flow. Make sense? Chaos theory, the butterfly effect, synergy, synchronicity, sensitivity, ecology, and adaptivity. A chameleon of sorts. Aries, Sagittarius Moon, Virgo Rising in the Western charts; Pisces, Scorpio Moon, and Leo Rising in the Vedic charts. I love sunsets & rises, the smell of surfboard wax & neoprene, a long savasana, Kerala dreams, sesame oil, and One Love, Blaze Fiyah!!!
Who I'd like to meet: People on the 21st century green coalition, abundant giants of expansive light, warriors for peace, jungle monkeys, soul surfers, mountain riders, and paradise seekers...love junkies.
Thank you for add, Kishan. Your yoga practice is very inspiring.
"The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and science." - Albert Einstein Have a beautifully mysterious and creative week, dear friend. *.* margerdei
Happy Birthday dear Kishan. May your day be blessed with brightness and may it be unforgettable.

You can become blind by seeing each day as a similar one. Each day is a different one, each day brings a miracle of its own. It's just a matter of paying attention to this miracle. ( Paulo Coelho)
I hope to make it to your town and join a class of yours. If you ever make it to Hawaii, let me know, so I can help create space for a visiting yogi class...~Namatse
