About me: Me,I am a proud Mom to two boys, 14 and 19. As you can tell by the page, all is not necessarily well with the 14 year old but he is my baby boy and I continue to be as involved in his life as I can be. He lives with his father and my 19 year old lives with me. My boys are the most important people in my world. I am also close to my family and love to visit and spend holidays with them. I love football and am especially proud this year that my son will be playing high school ball...both JV and Varsity. So, I go to two games a week...no complaints here! I am also an avid Redskins fan and there is a place in my heart for the Patriots since I lived in Mass for four years. I am totally obsessed with music and have an incredible and useless knowlege of rock'n'roll trivia...as long as we stick with mostly '60's, 70's and '80's. I have always told people that I don't need drugs because I have music. This, of course, means that I love going to concerts...some people go to the movies, I would rather go see a live band. And, I really love all types of music...it just has to hit me the right way...a sound that makes me melt or dance or cry or laugh...a melody that evokes some kind of emotion. That's why rap doesn't really impress me...but I'm openminded...I saw the Dead Kennedy's back in the day....many decades ago...and I have quite a few more stories from that era if you're interested...I also love the outdoors especially the mountains. I love the beach too but I have so many horrible memories of the beach...my Irish skin does not do well there, but now we have 70 spf sunscreen...woohoo! My page kinda says most of what I am...I have a few issues that are important to me either because of my experiences or the experiences of family or friends. I really care about other people and hate to see people in pain. I work for a doctor's office and will be going back to school in the spring to expand my opportunities in healthcare. I'm just here to meet people, have some fun and give some support to anyone who is dealing with the same issues I am.
