I miss being important to someone, being an essential piece in someone's life.
I miss knowing that if a day passed and they had not seen me, they'd arrive beneath my window as the night does each evening, the moonlight in their hair and the stars in their eyes. As if I were as neccessary in ending their day as the bowing out of the sun.

I was that once. But of course, that was quite sometime ago...
