The band rises during the second half of 1998, when two perfect strangers (AceKK and KK Starchild), casually meet at a rock party and, after have discovered their mutual passion for "the hottest band in the world" decide to start a KISS tribute band. Paul and Ace, after a first testing period, meet Peter e Gene (PeterCatEyes and GeneBlood) in a recording studio and, due to their affinities with the real Kiss, the four begin the musical activity
Kisskonfusion began the first live shows during the fisrt months of 2000, and since from the first shows, the live exibitions are characterized by costumes, make-up and fireworks which, although on a small scale, imitate as better as possible the real Kiss live show. After a few time, some friends and some Kiss fans start a real enttourage.
With the help provided both from the techical staff and from the internet site always updated, the band builds his tipical show: AceKK’s “Smoking Guitar”, GeneBlood’s “FireBreath” and the sparks waterfall during "Rock'N'Rolla All Nite" are just examples of what is possible to see during KISSKONFUSION live performance.
During these years tha band is pawned in a lot of activities, the most important of which are the presence with the song "Lick It Up" in the American project "UNPAINTED" (a compilatione of Kiss songs performed by many different European Kiss tribute bands published and dsitributed in the U.S.A. by Shark Bite Records), an appearence during a live broadcast on RAI1 (the Italian State television) and the presence at the "GODS of TRIBUTE Festival", when the band goes so far as to perform at Palavobis in Milan.
2003 is the year of changes: StarryMan (Max Adams -ex Love Machine-) takes the place of KKStarchild who leaves the band to begin a different course, and on September PeterCatEyes is replaced by the new drummer Pete3Legs.
These changes in the line-up temporarily reduce the live shows, however the band performs “Deuce” for “Italians Kiss Better”, an entirely Italian compilation project which gathers songs performed only by Italian bands, published and distributed worldwide by Azzurra Music.
In the next years the band starts very long tour shows and during this period of time is born the new idea to dedicate a tribute to Eric Carr, the late lamented drummed died in 1992. The role of Eric The Fox is entrusted to EricAngel, a staff member and a great friend, (the first one who have the double "K" tattooed on his arm!!!) but first of all a real drummer in a pure Eric Carr's style.
Kisskonfuson is now the first Italian Kiss tribute band who plays a sort of double tribute with two drummers.
The rest of the story is well known. In April 2007 there is the third line-up change: StarryMan leaves the role to PaulKonfusion. Just some jams for few weeks to find the right feeling and then the band is ready to come back on stage to make hot all the Kiss fans with rock'n'roll!

La band si forma verso la metà del 98’, quando due perfetti sconosciuti (AceKK e KK Starchild), si incontrano per caso ad un rock party, e scoperta la reciproca passione per la “più calda band del mondo”, decidono di formare un KISS Tribute Band. Paul e Ace, dopo un primo periodo di prova, incontrano Peter e Gene (PeterCatEyes e GeneBlood) in uno studio di registrazione, e, considerate le affinità con i propri personaggi , i 4 danno inizio all’attività musicale della band.
Kisskonfusion inizia ufficialmente l’attività live nei primi mesi del 2000, e da subito le live performance del gruppo sono caratterizzate dai classici costumi, dal make up, dagli effetti pirotecnici on stage, che, anche se chiaramente in forma ridotta, ricalcano fedelmente i live show degli originali americani. Quasi nell’immediato si forma spontaneamente un vero e proprio entourage, formato prevalentemente da amici dei 4 KK anch’essi fanatici all’invero simile dei grandi KISS.
Grazie ad uno staff tecnico onnipresente e supportata da un sito internet sempre aggiornato, la band costruisce lo spettacolo che che da sempre la caratterizza: la “SmokeGuitar” di AceKK, il “firebreath” di GeneBlood o la cascata di scintille in Rock ‘n’ Roll all Nite sono solo un esempio di quanto può accadere durante un live act KISSKONFUSION.
Questi anni vedono la band impegnarsi in diverse attività tra le quali la partecipazione, con la KissTrack “Lick it Up”, al progetto americano “UNPAINTED” (Shark Bite Records), una raccolta di brani originali eseguiti da Kiss Tribute Band Europee, pubblicato e distribuito soltanto negli USA, una diretta televisiva RAI1, e il festival GODS of TRIBUTE dove la band arriva ad esibirsi al Palavobis di Milano.
Il 2003 è l’anno dei cambiamenti: StarryMan (Max Adams ex-LoveMachine) prende il posto di KKStarchild che lascia la band in Gennaio per seguire un altro percorso artistico, mentre a Settembre, PeterCatEyes, viene sostituito dal nuovo drummer Pete3Legs.
Il cambio di line-up riduce momentaneamente le esibizioni live, ma permette alla band di partecipare con la KissTrack “DEUCE” alla nuova compilation “Italians Kiss Better”, primo disco di tributo ai KISS tutto Italiano.
Nel corso degli anni successivi Kisskonfusion intraprende una lunga attività live, ed è in questo periodo che prende forma l’idea di dedicare un tributo a Eric Carr, il compianto KISS drummer scomparso nel 1992. Il personaggio di Eric the Fox viene affidato a EricAngel, già membro dell’entourage KK, grande amico della band, il primo a tatuarsi le doppie K sul bicipite (!!!), ma soprattutto drummer in puro stile Eric Carr.
Il resto è storia nota, lo scorso aprile avviene il terzo avvicendamento all’interno del gruppo: StarryMan lascia il posto a Paul Konfusion. Qualche settimana di jam per trovare il giusto feeling e la band è pronta a tornare on stage per rendere bollenti a suono di rock’n’roll tutti i KISS fan!

Ciao ritornati dal Gods of Metal dove abbiamo lasciato ben 4000 copie della nuova compilation "Invasione Totale Vol.3" andiamo avanti con la nostra stagione estiva. Il prossimo sabato 4 luglio 2009 nell'incantevole zona della cascine di Firenze, precisamente all'Ippodromo Le Mulina, suoneranno i rinnovati Dragonia, che da ormai un po' di tempo si sono presentati con una nuova veste e nuova strumentazione (mic ad archetto, chitarra 8 corde e keytar solo per dirne alcune) interpretando uno show molto avvincente.
Inoltre ti vogliamo segnalare anche un altro grande evento del nostro caro amico Trevor dei Sadist: Metal Valley che si terrà sabato 11 luglio all'Area Expo di Genova con un bill notevole: Entombed, Rotting Christ, Necrodeath, Dark Lunacy, Coram Lethe, Ritual Rebirth, Bad Bones, Kadavar. Vietato Mancare!!!

Ed il sabato dopo (sabato 25 Luglio), sempre all'Ippodromo Le Mulina delle Cascine é il momento del ritorno dei grandissimi Story of Jade che presenteranno nuovi pezzi e nuovo repertorio e con una scenografia horror come sempre suggestiva ed affascinante.
