Hi - I'm Kit Berry, an author and a pagan. I've written a series of books called the Stonewylde Series, and the first two are now in print. You can see more details on my website www.stonewylde.com They're for all ages from 12 upwards (my oldest readers are in their 80s!) and men like them as much as women. The story is set in an enclosed alternative community in modern Dorset, where the old ways are remembered and pagan practices still followed. If you're interested in standing stones, earth energy, green magic, or just a very exciting read with loads of love, intrigue, mystery and passion - and just a little sex and violence to spice it up - these are the books for you. The first one is called Magus of Stonewylde and is available in most Waterstone's and Borders branches, at any bookshop, or on Amazon or my own website. Read the reviews on Amazon and try it for yourself!
American and Canadian readers - Magus of Stonewylde has now been published in the USA! The book is available to order from www.magusbooks.com or phone toll free 0-800-99MAGUS. Soon to be on amazon.com as well. Be one of the first to buy a copy of the US edition!
I live in Berkshire with my gorgeous partner and two slinky Burmese cats. I have three grown-up sons and a surrogate daughter, all of whom I love dearly. I love the natural world - woods, hills, the sky at night, wildlife etc and this is what led me to paganism. I feel at one with something greater than myself when I'm out walking somewhere beautiful or watching the full moon rise.
Who I'd like to meet: Anyone who feels the same about the natural world (you don't have to be a pagan or witch - lots of my friends are ordinary people who just appreciate the beauty of nature as I do). And anyone who's read my books or who would like to! Lots of my readers have said the Stonewylde series opened their eyes and they see the world in a different way now. I like open minded people who question things, and are prepared to try something different. Come and visit me at www.stonewylde.com
Hi Kit Thanks for the add! Reading your comment made my day. I really love Stonewylde - the world you've created and the community on the forum. It so lively! I do check in from time to time and I'm amazed at the care and love expressed by the members for each other. I loved the pictures from the Harvest Gathering - I would have loved to go. I hope you have a wonderful time in New York. And most of all, I wish all the best for you and your extended family. Happy Mabon!

thank you for your friendship ;-) I wish I had met you at the Leeds Festival, but when I was at your stand, you weren't there. I waited a little and then took one of your beautiful Wheel of the Year cards (sorry if I wasn't meant to do that - I didn't know at the time) to remind myself of your books. They're certainly next on my reading list. Part 1 with my next Amazon order!
Looking forward to chatting with you about all things mystical in the future.
